Our Amazing Team

Isabelle Pryde – Founder

Isabelle Pryde is a professional down-to-earth, practical, and enthusiastic founder and managing director of SafeStaff Limited.

Back in 2014 she started SafeStaff (somewhat reluctantly – that’s another story… ) due to demand from business owners desperate for H&S Compliance support that they could understand.

She holds qualifications and many years of experience in Health and Safety, Adventure Tourism, Sport and Recreation, Farming, Contracting, Construction, Joinery and most importantly working with Business owners and their incredible people.

Being the overachiever she is, and a person who is constantly searching for better ways of doing things, she hates wasting time on pointless paperwork, she was fed up with manual clumsy time consuming paper-based H&S management systems, so in 2018 she built the “Safety Hub” a streamlined simple software solution for managing H&S in the workplace, and the rest is history, “our clients like it, their staff use it (it must be good!) and it means I can take so much better care of my clients”

Isabelle loves working with people and gets a buzz out of removing the negative stigma some people have about workplace health and safety. By listening to her clients, their people, their frustrations, and their successes she believes she can improve the systems that help people do things better, smarter, and most importantly safer.

“Hear something and you will forget, see something and you might remember but it’s not until you do something that you will understand…

Shawn Pery – IT Expert

Shawn does the technical work on our super complex safety forms (for when Isabelle admits defeat) the rest of the hub was built by Isabelle herself.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Shawn has always had a thirst for knowledge and adventure. After graduating from UC San Diego with a major in Economics and a minor in Business, he embarked on an expansive career journey.

Shawn spent his early 20s at ICM Partners, Live Nation and ADP learning and experiencing the finance world. Hungry for more, Shawn decided to leave his 9 to 5 and work on his true passion, web design and app development. 2020 was a year of immense growth personally and professionally, Shawn taught himself to code, he built multiple websites and dove deeper into the realm of web development.

Whether in Los Angeles or his new home in Fort Collins, Colorado, Shawn is always on the move while solving problems and developing processes to help those in need of web support. When he is not nerding out on the latest update or React vernacular, Shawn is hiking the Rockies, biking the Front Range or road tripping with his girlfriend Alex and pup Ziggy

"Our Construction company has been using SafeStaff as our Health and Safety provider for some years now. We have used other providers in the past, with mixed results. We have found the systems and support that SafeStaff have given us over the years to be more useful, and extremely helpful. It’s always great to hear a friendly voice over the phone!"
